A day to give thanks. Thanks that we survived 9/11, and grew to embrace the tragedy as part of our nation and part of our collective conscious.

Thanks that the "training excercise" reported today in Washington did not result in harm to our President. At the time of this post, there is still confusion as to what, exactly, occurred on the Potomac with the Coast Guard.

God, please bring peace to us, our families, our neighbors, our nation, our President and our universe. Please bring Your serenity to those battling illness, loneliness, depression and their demons.
